Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ambrosio Libertad took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlas F.C's Fernando Urtungo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Atlas F.C's Braulio Frascuelo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Leandro Kelemen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Pedernera. Leandro Kelemen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Higinio Bela. 0-1. Higinio Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Atauri in the 26th minute of the match. Atlas F.C's Higinio Bela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Libertad in the 36th minute of play. Higinio Bela came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Pedernera's Gervasio Atauri. But to his dismay, Gervasio Atauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Pedernera's Victorino Ihazintu got control of the ball when Norberto Hulberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Aquiles Incendio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Pedernera were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norberto Hulberto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Pedernera's Ambrosio Libertad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Ricardo Olando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Ihazintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Fernan Reynardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Higinio Bela skillfully saved the ball. After 76 minutes, Leandro Kelemen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedernera and the Atlas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Pedernera got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Kelemen. After a defensive mix-up in Atlas F.C's zone, Ambrosio Libertad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Bela came out of the goal and Ambrosio Libertad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Ihazintu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Hulberto went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Julio Quico hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Atlas F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Bela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Kelemen. Victorino Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Hulberto in the 94th minute of play. Norberto Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Victorino Ihazintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pedernera players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
