Don Ramon's Emiliano Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Kenneth Åkerman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emiliano Adrio. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Erik Cantona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Cantona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbano Ekain's late challenge caught a Don Ramon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Ekain helped the player get up and apologised. Urbano Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Flavio Bizen came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Don Ramon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Bizen couldn't finish the play. Emiliano Adrio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Don Ramon's Emiliano Adrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Don Ramon from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Aznaro to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Quinton in the 50th minute of play forced Don Ramon's goalkeeper Emiliano Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Rito having to interfere. Erik Cantona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Cantona in the 65th minute of play forced Don Ramon's goalkeeper Emiliano Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Don Ramon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuriy Larkevich to maneuver through the defense. Yaso's Nunez Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Aznaro in the 68th minute of play. Dionisio Quinton struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Emiliano Adrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaso. If Filomeno Aznaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th play minute Filomeno Aznaro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nunez Rito. 3-1. Don Ramon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
