Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Canquel's Segundo Malvin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Canquel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Matteo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Evaristo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marcelino Larpe hit a great ball. Aurelio Jakue took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matias Eriz. Evaristo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Celso Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Dante Loi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Evaristo! The goalkeeper, Matias Eriz, was totally fooled by Canquel's Aurelio Jakue, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Ordono in the 25th minute of play forced Canquel's goalkeeper Edgardo Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Mantzio's late challenge caught a Canquel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Mantzio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Evaristo getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Felipe Mantzio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Segundo Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canquel's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Malvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Eriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo's Matias Eriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Evaristo from getting a goal against them. Segundo Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Eriz having to interfere. When Celso Matteo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canquel's protests and gave Celso Matteo a yellow card for diving instead. Wilfredo Santana in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The wind increased when Cayetano Ordono made the kick off in the second half. Matias Eriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Malvin in the 55th minute of the match. Cayetano Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd match minute, Canquel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Hernandez to maneuver through the defense. Canquel's Celso Matteo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canquel's Edgardo Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Ordono in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Celso Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Canquel booed when Evaristo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Iban didn't get a good kick on the ball.
