Primitivo Quexal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Niceto Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Peñico's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Primitivo Quexal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Peñico's Niceto Abeita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Selmo in the 39th minute of play. Club Colon de San Justo's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Castulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gavino Selmo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ignacio Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peñico's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Birjaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Peñico booed when Club Colon de San Justo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Chico in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Colon de San Justo fully deserved thier win.
