Aldo Botello might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Jaunti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Botello ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Herediak FC booed when Inferno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Onbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Jaunti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Onbera in the 33rd minute of play. Inferno were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Herediak FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celestino Onbera took the corner. Omar Jaunti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aldo Botello in the 39th minute. After 39 played minutes Herediak FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Quiroga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Goyo in the 44th minute of play forced Herediak FC's goalkeeper Omar Jaunti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
