Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Erasmo Bero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Manuel Delfino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santo Llin. The goal made the score 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, one of Atahualpa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Santo Llin had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Silverio Santio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Silvano Raebert got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 13 played minutes Delgado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Santio. After having played for 14 minutes, Amancio Lando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atahualpa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Lando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Baldomero Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Orixe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Bero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Orixe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Bero in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Suarez during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Casimiro Suarez hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Erasmo Bero took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Orixe. Baldomero Orixe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Adolfo Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Orixe having to interfere. Santo Llin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Delfino in the 31st minute of the match. When Celedonio Aguirre fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atahualpa's protests and gave Celedonio Aguirre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Celedonio Aguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Raeberts short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Santo Llin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Delgado AFC booed when Atahualpa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Jatsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Orixe having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Eriberto Olayo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Baldomero Orixe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Delfino to make the kick off. Adolfo Jatsu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Baldomero Orixe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Adolfo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nereo Remicio came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Atahualpa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Remicio couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Delgado AFC's Baldomero Orixe got control of the ball when Adolfo Jatsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Adolfo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Baldomero Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Jatsu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Baldomero Orixe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Raitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes of play, Atahualpa's Adolfo Jatsu made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Orixe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atahualpa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
