The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leandro Telesforo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Ortzi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vilela's zone, Gonzalo Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Lucila came out of the goal and Gonzalo Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Marquez having to interfere. Ariel Orlondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benigno Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Marquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Orlondo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes Vilela got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Bernaldo. Fabian Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Rico in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Vilela's Guillermo Bemabe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vilela's Guillermo Bemabe fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Guillermo Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Benigno Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
