Nereo Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilmantas Mikuckis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Vilmantas Mikuckis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Arnau having to interfere. The referee ignored Caroya AFC's protests and gave Leonel Viator a yellow card for diving instead. Reta FC's Vilmantas Mikuckis got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Reta FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Virila. If Prudencio Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The wind increased when Maximino Lesardo made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Caroya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Chinto. In the 54th minute, Vilmantas Mikuckis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Vilmantas Mikuckis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Arnau was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Damian Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Bonifacio Atarratze fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nereo Arnau, passed just outside the right post. Nicolas Chinto charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 68 played minutes Reta FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Phelipe. 72 minutes into the match, Caroya AFC's goalkeeper Nereo Arnau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Atarratze. When Angelo Phelipe fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reta FC's protests and gave Angelo Phelipe a yellow card for diving instead. 80 minutes into the match, Reta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Primeiro came free, but Saturnino Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Maximino Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Arnau having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Caroya AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Reta FC:s goal. Caroya AFC:s Nereo Arnau showed great skill when he stopped Bonifacio Atarratze:s penalty. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Vilmantas Mikuckis took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Nereo Arnau to make any attempt to save it. Reta FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
