With a left leg Claudio Hardin saved Fuerza Aérea Argentina FC from getting behind. The Fuerza Aérea Argentina FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pérez were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Luix to make the kick off. Claudio Hardin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pérez's zone, Fragiskos Zouboulakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 62nd minute of the match, Mauro Laurin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudio Hardin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pérez's Venancio Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fragiskos Zouboulakis in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Fragiskos Zouboulakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Pérez's Mauro Laurin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudio Hardin. Claudio Hardin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Uriel Toli struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Venancio Sandaili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fuerza Aérea Argentina FC. 74 minutes into the game, Celso Oriol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pérez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fuerza Aérea Argentina FC the free kick. In the 78th minute, Uriel Toli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fuerza Aérea Argentina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Venancio Sandaili went to the wrong direction when Reynaldo Confesor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Celso Oriol came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudio Hardin could save by the left post. If Fragiskos Zouboulakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
