Siro Martxelin charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Mateo Geofredo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Encrucijada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Geofredo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Nalo in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Quico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Alvaro Gonzales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Todo atras y Tchami de 9's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Gonzales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Urre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Oto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Quico. Todo atras y Tchami de 9's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Elpidio Nalo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Quico. Todo atras y Tchami de 9's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Nalo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alvaro Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
