Rolando Luzaide charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 20 minutes, Ambrosio Tino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C Sospechosa and the Barrancas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C Sospechosa's Ambrosio Tino got a free kick in the 21st minute. Genaro Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Genaro Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jesus Lauro came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the F.C Sospechosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Lauro couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Barrancas FC's Abel Serapio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hélio de Brito. Hélio de Brito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Hélio de Brito was a little too slow when Ariel Peio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. Abel Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Lauro made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Peio in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélio de Brito saved F.C Sospechosa from getting behind. Abel Serapio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélio de Brito having to make a save. After having played for 65 minutes, Evaristo Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Jacindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Abel Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, F.C Sospechosa's Jesus Lauro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Genaro Castro. Genaro Castro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Hélio de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Jacindo in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute Ariel Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to F.C Sospechosa getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Joaquin Miro hit a great ball. The Barrancas FC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Barrancas FC's Ariel Peio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th minute Ariel Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Jacindo in the 93rd minute of play forced F.C Sospechosa's goalkeeper Hélio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C Sospechosa's Hélio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Peio in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C Sospechosa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrancas FC.
