A very good chance. When Cayetano Ramone came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Libélula FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Ramone couldn't finish the play. Tony Nogel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arsenio Ekhi. After a rather tough play, Pinzón FC's Godfredo Montay got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Angel Furtado's late challenge caught a Pinzón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Furtado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Libélula FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Angel Furtado hit a great ball. João Francisco de Amaral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Tony Nogel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Libélula FC's Tony Nogel got control of the ball when João Francisco de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Francisco de Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Nogel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The goalkeeper, Tony Nogel, was totally fooled by Pinzón FC's Ernesto Sancho, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 47th match minute, Libélula FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Furtado to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when 姜适夕 made the kick off in the second half. João Francisco de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tony Nogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Godfredo Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinzón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Montay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Nogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Dimas's late challenge caught a Libélula FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Dimas helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Filiberto Ladio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinzón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Ladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pinzón FC booed when Libélula FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Libélula FC's zone, João Francisco de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Nogel came out of the goal and João Francisco de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Sebastian Niva managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Libélula FC's 姜适夕 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If 姜适夕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pinzón FC's Sebastian Niva got control of the ball when Angel Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Libélula FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
