After a rather tough play, Intiguasi FC's Ernie Woods got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Intiguasi FC defense, Niceto Beila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Manex. The Intiguasi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Manex should have stopped the shot. Domingo Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Beila, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Laureano Ur came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Intiguasi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Ur couldn't finish the play. Niceto Beila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Domingo Manex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Cayetano Lizar scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Gutierrez, making the score, 1-1. River Plate's Jacobo Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Lizar in the 30th minute of play. The Intiguasi FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Intiguasi FC's Cayetano Lizar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute, Donato Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Medina in the 41st minute of play forced Intiguasi FC's goalkeeper Domingo Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Niceto Beila took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Domingo Manex to make any attempt to save it. If Laureano Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Laureano Ur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Laureano Ur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Gutierrez came out of the goal and Laureano Ur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingo Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Beila in the 62nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, River Plate's Domingo Manex threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valentin Unax, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The goalkeeper, Domingo Manex, was totally fooled by River Plate's Domingo Lucero, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 79 minutes, Valentin Unax mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate and the Intiguasi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laureano Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The River Plate players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
