Claudio Azubeli hit a great ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Feliciano Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goyena AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aldo Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Vermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Ihintza having to interfere. Goyena AFC's Gualterio Vermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Ferman in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Gualterio Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Ihintza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Yaví booed when Goyena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Aldo Ferman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goyena AFC's Orlando Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yaví's Ruperto Nevada got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cleto Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Cordarell having to interfere. Gualterio Vermudo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Lisandro Ihintza made a huge save. Aldo Ferman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Sansone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orlando Cordarell. Goyena AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gualterio Vermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Ihintza having to interfere. Virgilio Elorri kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Goyena AFC's Baltasar Vincente got a free kick in the 77th minute. Goyena AFC's Orlando Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Ferman in the 79th minute of play. Aldo Ferman scored 1-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Cordarell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Aldo Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaví's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Goyena AFC's Gualterio Vermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Goyena AFC's zone, Aldo Ferman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Cordarell came out of the goal and Aldo Ferman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Goyena AFC's Dionisio Txilar got a free kick in the 91st minute. Gualterio Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goyena AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
