Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Justino Veronica started the match with the kick off. If Eriberto Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Monje FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Casimiro Ritchie hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Monje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Errapel came free, but Honorio Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mazarredo AFC's zone, Justino Veronica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Virila came out of the goal and Justino Veronica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leopoldo Baladi hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Honorio Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Errapel in the 15th minute of play forced Monje FC's goalkeeper Honorio Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazarredo AFC's Juan Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Ritchie in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mazarredo AFC's Eulalio Beltxe got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jimeno Errapel in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Rafe saved Monje FC from getting behind. Mazarredo AFC's Juan Virila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Mazarredo AFC from getting a goal against them. Casimiro Ritchie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Juan Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Errapel was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute Casimiro Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mazarredo AFC booed when Monje FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Monje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Aznar to maneuver through the defense. Juan Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th match minute, Mazarredo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Beltxe to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Romano in the 75th minute of the match. Monje FC's Elvio Rey was substituted for Gilberto Isauro. After 79 minutes Mazarredo AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Justino Veronica who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Columbo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Arsenio Romano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Honorio Rafe. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 93rd minute, Mazarredo AFC's Mauricio Teodor seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mauricio Teodor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mazarredo AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mauricio Teodor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mazarredo AFC:s Juan Virila showed great skill when he stopped Justino Veronica:s penalty.
