With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Petrigai in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Bemabe saved Ituzaingó FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ituzaingó FC's Dante Katia got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ariel Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Fabio Nardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ituzaingó FC's Ariel Bemabe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Blasco in the 32nd minute of play. Ariel Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Hilario Boniel fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ituzaingó FC's protests and gave Hilario Boniel a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Fabio Nardo made the kick off in the second half. When Fabio Nardo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the La Española F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Edelmiro Misael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Mingo having to interfere. Gustavo Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Blasco in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded La Española F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ituzaingó FC.
