The cai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Ezkerra should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Ibon to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes cai got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Horado. Pablo Sendoa took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Ezkerra. Ernesto Urbes's late challenge caught a cai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Urbes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of cai booed when Ripamonti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience was convinced that Daniel Leiria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Aballe was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 87thth minute of the game Daniel Leiria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ripamonti FC's Lino Aballe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaston Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Aballe having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, cai's goalkeeper Marco Ezkerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Sendoa. cai's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
