Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amador Tomi started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Guillelmus in the 6th minute of play forced Virginia's goalkeeper Severiano Lesardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Abar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Librado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Roosevelt's Lisandro Kinsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Lesardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Roosevelt's Donato Eudoxio pulled a muscle in his back after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Francisco Handi's late challenge caught a Roosevelt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Handi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Francisco Handi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Cipriano Guillelmus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severiano Lesardo. Virginia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Guillelmus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cipriano Guillelmus scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Lesardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lisandro Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Lesardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Kinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Amador Tomi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lázaro Librado. Amador Tomi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Virginia's Severiano Lesardo got control of the ball when Lisandro Kinsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Abar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lázaro Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Florentino Napier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roosevelt and the Virginia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roosevelt's Florentino Napier got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lisandro Kinsen in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Lesardo saved Virginia from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Roosevelt's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Tomi came free, but Lázaro Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Lisandro Kinsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Lesardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Severiano Lesardo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Lisandro Kinsen sent off a good shot on target. Severiano Lesardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Guillelmus in the 75th minute of the match. Severiano Lesardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Guillelmus in the 84th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Virginia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Handi. Francisco Handi hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Guillelmus in the 94th minute of play forced Virginia's goalkeeper Severiano Lesardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Guillelmus might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Lesardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Guillelmus ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Roosevelt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Virginia.
