Belmiro Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Garci having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Argentinos Jrs's Felix Dino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Garci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Mota in the 13th minute of play. Los Menti's Esteban Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Dino in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Los Menti getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Victoriano Ongile hit a great ball. If Belmiro Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Mota in the 30th minute of play. Cornelio Abastas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Laureano Argina made a huge save. Belmiro Mota's late challenge caught a Los Menti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro Mota helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Belmiro Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-1 became the score in the 39th minute when Isidoro Emeterio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Isidoro Emeterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteban Garci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Emeterio in the 47th minute of the match. The Los Menti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Argentinos Jrs were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cornelio Abastas to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteban Garci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Emeterio in the 64th minute. Isidoro Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Esteban Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Argentinos Jrs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
