Spectators: 6919 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guaberto Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Villa Santa Rita getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Enzo Mouricio hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Villa Santa Rita's Andreas Makrigiannis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Rufo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silverio Ranolfo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Pitin. Camilo Pitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Cristobal Lico came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Villa Santa Rita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Lico couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Guaberto Lalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corazuli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Enzo Mouricio fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Santa Rita's protests and gave Enzo Mouricio a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Villa Santa Rita got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Mouricio. In the 41st minute, Celedonio Camerino fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 43rd minute, Augusto Pes made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Pitin. Villa Santa Rita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Villa Santa Rita's Venancio Acevedo got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Honorio Cefero sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Villa Santa Rita's Camilo Pitin didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cristobal Lico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Rufo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Guaberto Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Camerino, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Camilo Pitin was a little too slow when Augusto Pes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. When Celedonio Camerino fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Santa Rita's protests and gave Celedonio Camerino a yellow card for diving instead. Celedonio Camerino hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Silverio Ranolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Lico in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Rufo saved Corazuli from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Igor Mark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Honorio Cefero in the 76th minute really tested Camilo Pitin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Camilo Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Pes in the 78th minute of play. Guaberto Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Lico in the 81st minute of the match. Guaberto Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th play minute Silverio Ranolfo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Camilo Pitin. 0-5. After 87 played minutes Corazuli got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Ranolfo. Jimeno Santikurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Pitin having to interfere. Igor Mark hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Honorio Cefero, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
