In the 4th minute Lagunillas were awarded a corner. Ulises Garaile went to the cornerflag to take it. Ildefonso Rocendo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes CASANI got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Bernard. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Domingues got free with Nicolas Jon in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 26 minutes, Luisito Sanduru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CASANI and the Lagunillas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lagunillas booed when CASANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Sanduru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Baldomero Domingues notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CASANI's Nicolas Jon. Nicolas Jon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ignacio Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Matia in the 34th minute of play. When Baldomero Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Lagunillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Domingues couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Urrutia in the 37th minute of the match. Nicolas Jon was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Baldomero Domingues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baldomero Domingues really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artemio Matia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, CASANI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Demario to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Demario hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Miguel Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Domingues in the 69th minute of play forced CASANI's goalkeeper Nicolas Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Waldemar Hajto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lagunillas and the CASANI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Lagunillas got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Hajto. Nicolas Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, CASANI's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Domingues came free, but Nicolas Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Laurin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Nicolas Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Urrutia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Jon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Domingues in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Jon saved CASANI from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Baldomero Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Jon. CASANI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
