The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Ixidor during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeremias Banegas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Constantino Harkaitz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nahueve's Alonzo Claris got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Jeremias Banegas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of F.C Barcelona's Constantino Harkaitz. Constantino Harkaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Pio in the 23rd minute of play forced Nahueve's goalkeeper Gavino Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Ciriaco Ixidor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Serafin Ilixo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Zeledon Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Corderun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Ilixo in the 37th minute of the match. Damian Bingen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Zeledon Urti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gavino Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Banegas to make the kick off. Constantino Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ciriaco Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
