DIPAQUI F.C's Karmo Valt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save DIPAQUI F.C from getting a goal against them. The supporters of DIPAQUI F.C booed when Barcala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Christian Martinez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIPAQUI F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcala FC the free kick. A collision led to DIPAQUI F.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basilio Atarrabi made a kick off.
