Gavino Arano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Feliz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tiburón FC's Gavino Arano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Feliz in the 9th minute of play. Gavino Arano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Poz in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tiburón FC's Omar Koldobika got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Hugo Crispo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Tirso came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiburón FC's Hugo Crispo. But to his dismay, Hugo Crispo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Paulo Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Conrado Tirso made a huge save. Hugo Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Conrado Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Arturo Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clarke AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiburón FC the free kick. In the 33rd minute, one of Clarke AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clarke AFC. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Tiburón FC's Kadir Behmar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Conrado Tirso. Hugo Crispo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximo Eleder might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Tirso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Eleder ran back to his position shaking his head. Agustin Feliz took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Arano. Gavino Arano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Eleder to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Tiburón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Bernal to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Rene Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clarke AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Ruisko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavino Arano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Emeterio in the 56th minute. Tiburón FC's Hugo Crispo suffered a sprained foot after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 59 minutes, Rene Ruisko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clarke AFC and the Tiburón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiburón FC made a substitution. Godofredo Bittor replaced Hugo Crispo. In the 58th minute, one of Clarke AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clarke AFC. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Tiburón FC. Kadir Behmar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conrado Tirso. 3-3. Agustin Feliz charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Feliz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Bittor in the 69th minute of play forced Clarke AFC's goalkeeper Conrado Tirso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tiburón FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Maximo Eleder hit a great ball. Conrado Tirso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Eleder in the 76th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Maximo Eleder sped through Clarke AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Tirso. Maximo Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Conrado Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Maximo Eleder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Godofredo Bittor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Tirso. Clarke AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godofredo Bittor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Conrado Tirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Bittor, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the Tiburón FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
