The referee showed Higinio Gorri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Naranjal Football Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Gorri to maneuver through the defense. EGIPTO's Calle Sjöström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Loren in the 24th minute of play. Modesto Illan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Calle Sjöström came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Naranjal Football Team's Romulo Lapurdi. But to his dismay, Romulo Lapurdi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 37th minute, Jacinto Loren made a precise shot to the right of Calle Sjöström. EGIPTO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 40 minutes into the match, EGIPTO's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Lapurdi came free, but Calle Sjöström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Naranjal Football Team's Gaston Lobo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calle Sjöström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Loren got free with Calle Sjöström in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calle Sjöström made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Jacinto Loren sent off a good shot on target. Gaston Lobo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 89th playminute. In the 96th minute Lázaro Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Mede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naranjal Football Team played a much better game than EGIPTO and deserved their victory. The EGIPTO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
