Cristobal Vidal's late challenge caught a La Plata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. Cristobal Vidal hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Alberto Marcico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Pernambucano in the 10th minute of play forced Club Atlético Vodka Jrs.'s goalkeeper Hermengildo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Vodka Jrs. defense, Juarês Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermengildo Arce. The Club Atlético Vodka Jrs. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermengildo Arce should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Arturo Cresencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Vodka Jrs.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Cresencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Pio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Marcico in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Vodka Jrs.'s goalkeeper Hermengildo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Marcico struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Hermengildo Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Plata FC. When Aquiles Mel fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Vodka Jrs.'s protests and gave Aquiles Mel a yellow card for diving instead. Aquiles Mel hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Hermengildo Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Alberto Marcico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Plata FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Vodka Jrs. the free kick. In the 35th match minute, La Plata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Marcico to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Centurión in the 38th minute of play. Hermengildo Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juarês Pernambucano went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juarês Pernambucano to make the kick off. Hermengildo Arce was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Juarês Pernambucano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juarês Pernambucano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 58 played minutes Club Atlético Vodka Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Cresencio. After 59 minutes of play, La Plata FC's Caco Centurión made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermengildo Arce made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Alberto Marcico sent off a good shot on target. After 68 played minutes Juarês Pernambucano rounded Club Atlético Vodka Jrs.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Faustino Tartalo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alberto Marcico came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hermengildo Arce could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alberto Marcico managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 80th minute, one of Club Atlético Vodka Jrs.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético Vodka Jrs.. If Alberto Marcico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Plata FC made a substitution. Paulo Eufemio replaced Pedro Firme. Club Atlético Vodka Jrs.'s Hermengildo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Pernambucano in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Alberto Marcico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Plata FC's Pastor Roano was substituted for Juarês Pernambucano. Hermengildo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Roano, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Alberto Marcico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Arce having to interfere. When the match was over La Plata FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atlético Vodka Jrs. throughout the match.
