The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gustavo Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedermar AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Nalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Edwardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Astor Chap during the 17th minute. Pedermar AFC's Lucas Garoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Pedermar AFC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Nalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aristides Atarrabi's late challenge caught a Pedermar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Gai in the 84th minute of play forced Pedermar AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Garoa having to interfere. Lucas Garoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro James's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. A collision led to CARiverPlate getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Marco Orlanda hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Vladimiro James got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedermar AFC's Lucas Garoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro James in the 97th minute of play.
