One of Córdoba Azulgrana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CARiverPlate:s goal. The referee gave CARiverPlate a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. Gaudencio Gai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Paolo Tomi made a huge save. Amador Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Córdoba Azulgrana's attentive Amadeo Pinto managed to snatch the ball when Astor Chap made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. 72 minutes into the game, Nicanor Gaskon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CARiverPlate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Córdoba Azulgrana the free kick. Chants of CARiverPlate echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Córdoba Azulgrana had held the ball for most of the match.
