Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Celedonio Itzaina made the kick off and thus started the match. Jeronimo Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hilario Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Rosario AFC's Hilario Horado got control of the ball when Jeronimo Gorbea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosario AFC's Julio Esdras couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saldaña FC. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario AFC's zone, Constantino Ibar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Horado came out of the goal and Constantino Ibar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Horado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeronimo Gorbea in the 33rd minute. When Felipe Alves fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saldaña FC's protests and gave Felipe Alves a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Eguerdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Maule in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Constantino Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saldaña FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Ibar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Aztore to strike the kick off in the second half. Vicente Eguerdi was a little too slow when Eusebio Maule got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 3-1. 58 minutes into the game, Saldaña FC's Constantino Ibar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Horado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 63rd minute, Constantino Ibar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Horado was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Vicente Eguerdi made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Eusebio Maule sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Vicente Eguerdi managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Rosario AFC's Erubiel Aztore fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Saldaña FC booed when Rosario AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Gorbea's late challenge caught a Rosario AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Gorbea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Saldaña FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Gau kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Jeronimo Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Erubiel Aztore kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Eguerdi. That made the score 5-2 in the 80 minute of play. Vicente Eguerdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Maule in the 89th minute of play. Hilario Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Ibar in the 91st minute of the match. Erubiel Aztore hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Saldaña FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
