After 14 played minutes Super Hugo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Hunfredo. In the 14th minute of the match, Fulgencio Vincente tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruperto Salvator saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ulises Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Cordarrell in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Ledesma getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Robustiano Nesor hit a great ball. Miguel Valery hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Honorato Vermudo's late challenge caught a Ledesma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorato Vermudo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, one of Super Hugo F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Super Hugo F.C. When Daniel Hunfredo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Super Hugo F.C's protests and gave Daniel Hunfredo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Severo Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ledesma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Ayala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Ayala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Salvator having to interfere. Aquilino Abilio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Severo Ayala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Salvator having to make a save. Severo Ayala scored 1-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruperto Salvator, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Valery to make the kick off. Ledesma's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
