Fabricio Polentzi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ricardo Bilintx 8 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes, Segundo Florinio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mala Leche FC and the Porvenir Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Segundo Florinio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Hodei in the 19th minute of the match. Ricardo Bilintx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Mala Leche FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Fero to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Porvenir Talleres defense, Salvador Sidoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siro Laurin. The Porvenir Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Laurin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Polentzi in the 36th minute of play forced Mala Leche FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Bilintx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes, Marco Fero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mala Leche FC and the Porvenir Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Fero hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Ricardo Bilintx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Iyan in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Fabricio Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porvenir Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fabricio Polentzi's late challenge caught a Mala Leche FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Polentzi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Fabricio Polentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Iyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Laurin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Hodei in the 72nd minute. If Carmelo Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Salvador Sidoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Polentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Venceslao struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ricardo Bilintx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porvenir Talleres. Siro Laurin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Hodei went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Although Porvenir Talleres had been in control for most of the match, Mala Leche FC still came away with the win.
