NOMBRE OFENSIVO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Goi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Elpidio Gonzalez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Manuelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Gonzalez to make the kick off. Elpidio Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Leonel Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Gonzalez in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Manuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Baron Rojo FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Baron Rojo FC's Elpidio Gonzalez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
