Mustafa Emre Ünlüsoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Delmiro Salamon might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herminio Iaki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Salamon ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Matias Medina came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the milton junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Medina couldn't finish the play. Bermejo AFC's Herminio Iaki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Demario in the 54th minute of play. The milton junior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Herminio Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Salamon in the 62nd minute of play. If Isaac Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, milton junior's Horacio Salvatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herminio Iaki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Bermejo AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Iaki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Salamon. Isaac Demario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iaki having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bermejo AFC defense, Matias Medina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Iaki. The Bermejo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Iaki should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, milton junior's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Etxekopar came free, but Mustafa Emre Ünlüsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Salamon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Herminio Iaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Bermejo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Iratze. Bermejo AFC's Herminio Iaki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Bermejo AFC from getting a goal against them. Isaac Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded milton junior left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bermejo AFC.
