With splendid footwork Tobiasz Kaszubowski arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-3 by the left pole in the game's 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Magdalena's Americo Igon got a free kick in the 37th minute. Domingo Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Hernandez in the 39th minute of play. Ranelagh Club Atletico's Domingo Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Pere in the 40th minute of play. Ranelagh Club Atletico were furious when Urbano Benvide was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Damaso Lauaxeta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. Domingo Eusko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmacio Opilano to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Dalmacio Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Eusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Ranelagh Club Atletico's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Opilano came free, but Domingo Eusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Hernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Domingo Eusko made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Tonio got free with Domingo Eusko in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Eusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Fabrizio Catucci came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ranelagh Club Atletico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Catucci couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Matias Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magdalena's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magdalena played a much better game than Ranelagh Club Atletico and deserved their victory. The Ranelagh Club Atletico players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
