Gaudencio Ikatz made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cristo Intxixu sent off a good shot on target. After 38 minutes, Cristo Intxixu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Incahuasi's Gaudencio Ikatz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ricardo Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Laffitte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Hegoi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stenhousemuir F.C's Lucas Goito got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Cordareo in the 48th minute of play forced Stenhousemuir F.C's goalkeeper Placido Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Tirso to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Laffitte got free with Placido Hegoi in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Hegoi having to interfere. Fausto Guifre kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Placido Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Placido Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jonas Brais fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Incahuasi's protests and gave Jonas Brais a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Brais hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cristo Intxixu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Ikatz. Incahuasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristo Intxixu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 94 minutes into the game, Jorge Illan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Incahuasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stenhousemuir F.C the free kick. The supporters of Stenhousemuir F.C booed when Incahuasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Illan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
