Nemesio Arce came out of the goal and Ernesto Chayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nemesio Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Vincent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Ioritz in the 12th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Nemesio Arce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of El Gato Lopez FC booed when 11 Muertos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Ernesto Chayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 11 Muertos FC's Nemesio Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Chayo had several of the 11 Muertos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Nemesio Arce as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ernesto Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Federico Celino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Rivero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Ernesto Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Opilano in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eriberto Telesforo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Albano Eduino struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nemesio Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Gato Lopez FC. Ernesto Chayo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. El Gato Lopez FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Santiago Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Arce having to interfere. Nemesio Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Ernesto Chayo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nemesio Arce. The goal made the score 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Ioritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, 11 Muertos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Chayo came free, but Nemesio Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Bartoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Rivero in the 85th minute of play forced 11 Muertos FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Albano Eduino notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of 11 Muertos FC's Nemesio Arce. Nemesio Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albano Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. There was no doubt that El Gato Lopez FC were the better team. El Gato Lopez FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
