Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Aznar made the kick off which started today's match. Anguli's Silvio Cristos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Anguli from getting a goal against them. Melchor Ramirez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Silvio Cristos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Melchor Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Justo Elodio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anguli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paragüil the free kick. Justo Elodio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Silvio Cristos came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Paragüil's Melchor Ramirez. But to his dismay, Melchor Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Manuel Aznar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Horacio Uxio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melchor Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Melchor Ramirez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvio Cristos. The goal made the score 2-1. Horacio Uxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Cristos having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Ramirez to make the kick off. Anguli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Elodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paragüil's Horacio Uxio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Paragüil from getting a goal against them. If Carlos Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paragüil's Venancio Marino got a free kick in the 60th minute. Anguli's Manuel Aznar got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee ignored Paragüil's protests and gave Cecilio Bonifaco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Paragüil's Cecilio Bonifaco got a free kick in the 74th minute. Silvio Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Ramirez in the 79th minute of the match. After 80 minutes, Alejo Argina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anguli and the Paragüil players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Ramirez in the 83rd minute of play forced Anguli's goalkeeper Silvio Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Isaias Firme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvio Cristos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Paragüil's Carlos Iruinea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Cristos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute Carlos Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Manuel Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Uxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anguli players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paragüil.
