The supporters of Defensores de Belgrano booed when Puestito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Defensores de Belgrano's Eduardo Pagomari got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Puestito AFC's zone, Cristián Pavon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Astigar came out of the goal and Cristián Pavon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Garaona in the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Fausto Pelagius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puestito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Belgrano the free kick. A collision led to Puestito AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fausto Pelagius hit a great ball. Puestito AFC's Benedicto Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Beat in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Puestito AFC's zone, Bartolo Blasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Astigar came out of the goal and Bartolo Blasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alvaro Beat came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Defensores de Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Beat couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Raimundo Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Nunez Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Piearres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Garaona made a kick off. When Defensores de Belgrano's Cristián Pavon in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bartolo Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Astigar having to interfere. Bartolo Blasco struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benedicto Astigar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Belgrano. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Raimundo Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Leandro Garaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabricio Piearres, 0-1. Bartolo Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benedicto Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Puestito AFC's Benedicto Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Blasco in the 86th minute of play. Fausto Pelagius hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cristián Pavon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Puestito AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Defensores de Belgrano's much stronger midfield.
