Vladimiro Tono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Conrado Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The wind increased when David Intxixu made the kick off in the second half. Sabalero FC's Vladimiro Tono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Intxixu in the 53rd minute of play. In the 87th minute David Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Octavio Indalecio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Champagne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octavio Indalecio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Intxixu might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimiro Tono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Intxixu ran back to his position shaking his head. Champagne FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
