Arsenal FC de Avellaneda's Hipolito Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Silban in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Estavan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hipolito Nesor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Conchas's Hipolito Nesor threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcial Silban, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hipolito Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Gonza in the 27th minute of play. Marcial Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Nesor having to interfere. The Conchas fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Conchas's Marcial Silban looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Silban got free with Hipolito Nesor in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Conchas's Marcial Silban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Nesor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rene Senen might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Nesor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Senen ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Silban in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hipolito Nesor saved Arsenal FC de Avellaneda from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Jenaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcial Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hipolito Nesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Silban in the 55th minute of the match. Guaberto Atauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Jenaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Marcial Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Conchas's goalkeeper Guaberto Atauri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Quintun. Conchas's Victor Ubarna quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Robustiano Santana, made in the 76th minute of the game. Marcial Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hipolito Nesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcial Silban in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Nesor prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
