La Mandarina Mecánica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomas de Banfield the free kick. Lomas de Banfield made a substitution. Eulalio Natanael replaced Fidel Peruanton. A collision led to La Mandarina Mecánica getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cayetano Savion hit a great ball. Amado Felipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aaron Jara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Serafino Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Ciriaco Dolfos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciriaco Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Macias having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafino Txeru to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Angelo Costantino notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of La Mandarina Mecánica's Andres Macias. Andres Macias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andres Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Costantino in the 55th minute of the match. Lomas de Banfield's Aaron Jara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lomas de Banfield from getting a goal against them. Amado Felipo in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aaron Jara, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gerardo Quilino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. La Mandarina Mecánica:s Andres Macias showed great skill when he stopped Angelo Costantino:s penalty. Jorge Hitzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Mandarina Mecánica's Andres Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Costantino in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Lomas de Banfield's goalkeeper Aaron Jara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Felipo. The audience was convinced that Angelo Costantino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Macias was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Angelo Costantino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Jorge Hitzeder charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Hitzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andres Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Dolfos in the 97th minute of play. Lomas de Banfield's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
