The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Israel Galsino's late challenge caught a Curhuani AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Curhuani AFC's Guido Galoer was substituted for Joaquin Fonda. The supporters of Curhuani AFC booed when Pedernal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Aureo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calle Busk. Calle Busk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Curhuani AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
