Ezequiel Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Juan Urtun came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Paranay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Urtun couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Freddy Jerrold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cosme Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Lop kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ermegildo Mede blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 龚斌磊 having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Satanás Páez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Guillelmus came free, but Cosme Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Mede received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 龚斌磊 came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermegildo Mede slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. 龚斌磊 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ermegildo Mede showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Marciano Caitano struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. 龚斌磊 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Daniel Criston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 龚斌磊 came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Satanás Páez FC's Marciano Caitano. But to his dismay, Marciano Caitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Guillelmus made a kick off. Eduardo Pierres's late challenge caught a Satanás Páez FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
