Morón F.C.'s David Beckham got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Pietro kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Bjørnar Kværner's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Javier Sol on his right side and into the goal. 9 minutes into the game it was 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Gervasio Fagildo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morón F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA the free kick. Gervasio Fagildo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA's Casimiro Darien got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Alfredo Quintyn made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Gasteiz. Morón F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Casimiro Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Darien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Tomás Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Sol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Bernad in the 29th minute of play forced ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA's goalkeeper Javier Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA got a freekick which was hit by Benito Marcones. In the 31st minute, Benito Marcones fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Eusebio Gasteiz. David Beckham's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Javier Sol firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dante Restu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA booed when Morón F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Fagildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA's Dante Restu got a free kick in the 38th minute. David Beckham scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Sol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Beckham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA's Javier Sol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save ATLÉTICO CASTAÑEDA from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Casimiro Darien made the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Darien in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Morón F.C.'s David Beckham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Sol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krzysztof Kasiewski during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Krzysztof Kasiewski kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Morón F.C. made a substitution. Arnaldo Chale replaced David Beckham. Arnaldo Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Sol having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Casimiro Darien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Gasteiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Casimiro Darien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Gasteiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play.
