With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Urbes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 played minutes Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Silbestre. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos Juniors's zone, Luciano Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Urbes came out of the goal and Luciano Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Marques scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cipriano Urbes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Piorno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as POLILUX FC.'s Barnaba Majorski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cipriano Urbes. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. Luciano Marquess short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Cipriano Urbes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Luciano Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
