Tadeo Eguzki scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto James, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Dedé Matos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tapitas FC's Ernesto James. Ernesto James was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Argentina AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Aztore in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto James prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Bernardo Lorien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Mendebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Damian Mendebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermegildo Rexino was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Dedé Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Argentina AFC booed when Tapitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Aztore might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto James. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Aztore ran back to his position shaking his head. The Argentina AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
