After 45 minutes of play, Monsalvo's Mauro Duardo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto James was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Duardo made a kick off. If Mauro Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Felix Eneto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto James. Tapitas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Eneto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Bernardo Lorien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapitas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Lorien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Henrico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, Monsalvo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. Felix Eneto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto James having to interfere. Mauro Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ernesto James tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernardo Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tapitas FC's Ernesto James proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Tapitas FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Monsalvo booed when Tapitas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Muc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ernesto James tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Tapitas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
