In the 20th minute Tomas Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Ataraxia FC's Orlando Bertol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Llorian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano James got free with Enrique Llorian in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 29 minutes, Luciano James managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ataraxia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano James was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ataraxia FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ignacio Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hector Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibarlucea's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Vela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Clementi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ibarlucea's Enrique Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Peter in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes in the game, Tomas Peter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Enrique Llorian having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Vela to make the kick off. Enrique Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Peter in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Sergio Misael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Enrique Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orlando Bertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Llorian having to interfere. Sergio Misael charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Misael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Ataraxia FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Misael. After recieving a nice pass, Ibarlucea's Rolando Aballe tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luciano James took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Llorian. Enrique Llorian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Ataraxia FC's Bernabe Caitano got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ignacio Guipuzkoa charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacio Guipuzkoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ataraxia FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ignacio Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, Orlando Bertol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Enrique Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 90 minutes, Orlando Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ataraxia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Bertol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ibarlucea's zone, Tomas Peter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Llorian came out of the goal and Tomas Peter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ibarlucea's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
