The referee showed Carmelo Lop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabio Irrintzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Playo in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Lunlunta's Fabio Irrintzi got control of the ball when Jimeno Playo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Fabian Silviano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alumni S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunlunta the free kick. Fabian Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Benito Osasun sped through Alumni S.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albert Volz. In the 27th minute Tobias Fortun suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Jimeno Playo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alumni S.C.'s protests and gave Jimeno Playo a yellow card for diving instead. Jimeno Playo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jimeno Playo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Irrintzi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Carmelo Lop got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alumni S.C.'s Albert Volz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Pirro in the 35th minute of play. Fabio Irrintzi came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Alumni S.C.'s Jimeno Playo. But to his dismay, Jimeno Playo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fabio Irrintzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Playo in the 40th minute. Lunlunta's Fabio Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Chano in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Nicasio Pirro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Lunlunta's Nicasio Pirro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Volz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Pirro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jimeno Playo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alumni S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jimeno Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Irrintzi having to interfere. Nicasio Pirro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Albert Volz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Lunlunta's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Chano came free, but Fabio Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Playo in the 67th minute of play forced Lunlunta's goalkeeper Fabio Irrintzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Honorato Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Jimeno Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alumni S.C.'s Albert Volz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Alumni S.C. from getting a goal against them. Marco Chano scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Irrintzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute Honorato Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nicasio Pirro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Lunlunta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Pirro couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Alumni S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Playo. 93 minutes into the match, Guaberto Cedro notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Lunlunta's Fabio Irrintzi. Fabio Irrintzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alumni S.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
