Esquel FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Honorato Bitxintxo scored to the left of an out of position Honorato Danel, making the score, 1-5. Honorato Bitxintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Danel having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Joel Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alumni S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orlando Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Honorato Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Iturri's late challenge caught a Alumni S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorino Iturri helped the player get up and apologised. Victorino Iturri hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Honorato Bitxintxo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Honorato Danel came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorato Bitxintxo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 93rd minute.
